If it's just the toggle of the zip, thread a cable-tie through it. If the zip itself has burst, just find a local leather tailor who can put a new zip in (but make sure they are used to doing motorbike leathers).

Ask wideboy about that, in a non homoerotic way.........
Same happened on my leather trousers; for ages I just used a paperclip.
These might be worth a shout, not sure if they do repairs but im sure they could put you onto someone that does.. My dad got his leathers from them and they were very helpful. Not much of a website but there is a phone number and address!!!

Theres nothing special about zips.....take it to any clothing repair store and they will double stick a new zip back on for you if they can not repair what has been damaged.
Friend had his leathers completely re-zipper at some little indian ladies clothing shop for £18

Hi Guys,
This may sound silly but if you have a Saddlers near you they will easily be able to fix it or at least know someone that can. \\:D/ Leather can be tricky to replace zips in.
The other option is find a good dry cleaners as they sometime know people that can mend anything leather.
Good luck
if the zip runner itself has come right off, these can be easily replaced. My local Hein Gericke did it in about 15 mins in the shop, although this was under warranty.

i fixed it! if this was an RPG game my zip fixing skill would of leveled up lol
my leather trousers offered a zipper transplant last night which was a success!
thanks to all those for the help
specific thanks to Kwak for offering to lend some - legend!
