Watching the news

I really can't stand watching the news anymore. It's just so depressing. Reading the paper is bad enough but it seems like every time I watch the news all it has is more death, suffering or cruelty. :(

I dont watch it neither listen to it unless forced.. :)

just remember stuff's on the news because it is unusual. all the nice stuff gets missed off because that's the norm :-)

I haven't bought a paper in ten years (last one I bought because it had info about the eclispe in it - 11th Aug 1999!)

But I did watch the news everynight, bit of an obsession, but I've now given up, I'm so sick of hearing about the banks. I don't mean sick as in bored.

But sticking your head in the sand and not watching / reading won't make it go away - you are just refusing to let impinge on your life. When everyone takes that attitude, see what the bad people will do.....
