View Full Version : High Level Link Pipe
Anyone know where i can find one?
Looked at ebay, searched this forum, searched suzuki's own site..
Anyone any ideas?
Also, does it matter which type of exhaust i have?
Its a low level link pipe atm, just wanting a high level link pipe, even a medium level would do..
Check my exhaust out, there is a link to pics in my sig.
Thanks, David.

They're a pain in the rse.
Normal panniers don't work, if you fit rearsets then the link pipe is in the way. Only good thing is when you crash the pillion peg takes the slide not the can.
Otherwise, try the makers of your exhaust or beowulf exhausts.

am afraid you cant buy them
only of manufacturers or custom made
blue flame do high level pipes but i doubt they will not juts sell you the link as its blueflame lol
best option is to get one made up so you can get it to what you want

i got a micron one which you can have along with the adaptors. I bought a set of ebay for the Stainless steel pipes but it's done my head in. I'm going back to normal level tomorrow providing my original link still fits.
I'll give you a PM tomorrow if i swap it back. I got the adaptors etc . . do you need the new strap too or do you have one?
Ok, foning blue flame right now.
I wont be changing rearsets, i dont use panniers, i dont take pillions as such.
Just think it looks alot better..
Still looking around..

info for you if you wanted mine.
It's Micron and the OD of the bottom pipe is 52.5mm and the bit going onto the can i think is 52.5mm as well (not 100%). I got all the bits so if you want it let me know as of tomorrow i'm going back to standard.

I want an underseat exhaust. Nothing to scratch!

I got a slightly underseat one..lol. Its certainly easier when getting it round the side of the house and through gates. Makes the bike half a foot narrower! It fits snugly just under the subframe, and just pokes out a little further than them mahhhooosive indies in width

Looks good. Pipe looks vulnerable though. For ultimate protection it would be good if the pipe could go up through the swingarm :D

lol, not much room for that though is there! The link pipe is kinda curved inwards as well, just slightly above the swingarm..its more noticeable from the back, you can't tell on that pic.
You also can't see a little patch of carbon stuffz(or summat) thats on the swingarm behind the link, where some nugget attempted a different pipe before and it fouled the swingarm

The high level can Im using is a reclaimed one from my old and very dead curvy.
It fits and works fine, comments about the pillion pegs are true though, you will need some spacers and longer bolts if you ever want to use them.
Ive had panniers on mine with this can no problems but its tucked right under the side of the seat.
