But the weather focast has been rpetty innacurate recently. I'm still well up for a ride. I will be on the ZZR for sure as the person who parks in front of my garage has kindly gone on holiday without telling me, and not left his car keys!!!!!

Nothing that can't be sorted by judicious use of a couple of trolley jacks.
Or a brick and a scaffold pole. YMMV.

Well it is on his drive way - so not public road. I rent the garage and he rents a room in the house, so we both have a right to use it. I think he just forgot to mention it to me, but why he can't just park on the road I don't know.

Provisionally in, but I may have to go to Cambridge to assess a Daytona my mate has just blown up to see if I can do an engine swap economically for him. That will be Saturday mind, so Sunday is still possible. Is it the standard FOT we are planning?
I think so, yeah.
Or, at least, I hope it is... my plans to use the RGV are shelved due to lack of MOT from tomorrow which means I'll be on something not ideal for following people on a gentle trundle.

Where in aylesbury will you be and what time so that I may join you?
Horse & Jockey pub car park on the A413 out of Aylesbury, 11am departure.
I may go straight there or I may head to Maidenhead first to catch anyone leaving the Shire Horse at 9.30. Means rather an early start though.

I hope you all have a good ride tomorrow, I decided to give it a go this morning (I haven't read this post until now!)
Good route, but I left in the morning when it was pretty sunny and even slightly warm, only to come home under grey skies and a slight chill in the air.
Horse & Jockey pub car park on the A413 out of Aylesbury, 11am departure.
i'll try to be at the shire by 09.30. BUT dont wait if i'm not there, i'll catch up at horse & jockey but still dont wait if im not there by 11:00..
Means i could not come at all...........

So I now have to wait at the Shire just in case some people want to turn up? Not happening.
If at 9.00am tomorrow I have not received confirmation that at least 1 person is going to the Shire for 9.30 then I will head straight to the Horse and Jockey.

Well for once the weatherman was right:
Heavy rain mid-day
At least we managed to get a the FOT completed in the dry. Twas a nice spirited ride. For some reason the sausage sandwich is repeating on me. I am not sure what they put in it but it feels like I am trying to digest radioactive waste.

My gloves appear not to be quite as waterproof as I thought they were.
The only problem with buying new goretex kit is it shows how dismal my old kit is.
