Anyone come across this where the bike stalls, and when you go to restart there is no life from the ignition and most electrics are dead. lights work and horn, but starter fails to ignite.

Only after a quick jump start then everything comes to life.

I have removed the battery and using a Dr Bike Optimiser and I have 3 lights lit - the red, orange and yellow light which means the battery is between 6-12volts.

Should this not be enough? I find it very weird that the bike has no kick after stalling.

I've made sure when restarting the bike is in neutral, and the clutch level is pulled in when the ignition is switched.

It's fine, if I turn the bike on/off through normal operating.

advice please, while I keep the battery on charge.

No thats not enough to start an SV.Fully charge the battery then test it to see what its like.Worth buying a cheap multimeter to test the whole charging system if its playing up.

Bike Biggles...thanks for that advice, will keep the battery on charge til the morning and refit and give it another ride out - "With AA Card in my Wallet, just in case" will keep the post updated to see what happens.

Just taken the curvy out for a quick spin, and all seems ok after the battery been on charge overnight...stalled a few times, and restarted ok.

Will keep a eye on things and see what gives...thanks all.
