Depends on how much more power you want and how much money you want to spend.
Exhaust, Filter, remap stock ECU or Power Commander. But you arent going to get big gains without spending alot of money or tinkering with things.
Personally I'd just not bother, fit a slip on can so it sounds better and then spend the money you saved on a suspension upgrade and then you can make the most of what you already have.
If you drop the gearing so go up 1 or 2 teeth on the rear sprocket then it'll make the bike feel more lively acceleration wise and thats quite a cheap mod to do.
If you want a silly amount of power, then go buy a bigger bike...

Fizzwheel's answer is pretty much spot on, the best approach with the SV is to tell yourself that you really want a 70bhp bike :) You could do the cheap cam swap, a set of early model intake cams to replace your exhaust cams would probably net you a couple of bhp, and you can get used ones for about £50 generally. Nice easy fit. This is really the only engine tuning which makes any sense at all for a road SV, IMO. But it just doesn't make a lot of sense.

Its never going to be though is it. You're trying to achieve the impossible there IMHO.
In your situation, I'd be looking to do suspension mods and make the most of the BHP you have. It'll certainly feel more GSXR like to ride with a GSXR front end bolted to it ;)
if it was like a gixxer 750 i'd want my money back hahaha though seriously i think it takes some serious work to get anything good out of em hasnt dd got a sv800 on here cant remember.
As Fizzwheel mentioned go up a tooth or 2 on the rear and mayb even drop one on the front
