I am thinking of bringing little Meg. She can rollerskate very well. Was wondering what she would be like on ice skates. :D

Why can you not multi vote? What if several dates are good for you and you are not fussed which one?

Get a grip Sarah.

I've only gone and thrown a spanner in the works. Just realised I never voted. I'm not gonna' be in the country on April 2nd.
Don't let me influence the decision though!

I was looking forward to going this Thursday. I can still go on the 2nd though...:)

Be gentle with me. After all, I am a 44 year old asthmatic......;)

Can laughing at someone A LOT (read me ) who keeps falling over, trigger an asthma attack? Maybe I should save myself the embarrasment

Anyone that brings their own skates must have some degree of skill otherwise they would not have invested in a pair of skates. I on the otherhand an sh*t*. I am currently injured. If skating is this week, I will most likely not to be skating. Do spectators only still have to pay?

Man on the door, sometimes.

I dont think its much to spectate (if at all).... It'd be best to tell them you are going in the skate shop (skate shop is in the rink itself.) - open till 9pm.

That would be cool. But not necessary. The main reason for my attendance is for little Meg to give it a go. I am interested to know if her roller skating skills will help her on the ice. :) I would be more than happy taking the pee out of everyone else.

Well if you are spectating you would not need to hire skates...............;)

If you are spectating and own your own skates however, not sure how they would police that. Perhaps they embed a small nano-chip in your brain that send a signal to their central skynet computer and vapourises your undergarments if you go on the ice.

Or, maybe not.

I started ice skating at about 6 years old. Every summer the ice rink turned into a roller rink. Could not roller skate to save myself. Ice skating is much more fun and much easier. If Meg can roller skate she will find ice skating a dawdle. Me and Bex can take her round the ring a few times if you dont want to go on the ice - ya big wuss :p

My knee is considerably better than it was although still very painful. I may just make it.

Has a confirmed date been agreed yet?

The skate shop is an actual shop where you buy / sharpen skates.

not the same place as you get hire skates.
Skaters are given tickets, 1x entrance 1x hire voucher (if needed)
