I bought a rear seatbelt for my Jeep back in November and when it arrived it was frayed.
This was why the one I had had failed the MOT, so I sent it back.
The seller claimed I'd "ruined" the part and refused to refund me so I launched a claim with Paypal.
Well, this claim has dragged on and on and I've had to formally complain three times because Paypal closed the claim due to lack of information (or not being bothered to read what they had, as the had all the information)
Each time it was reopened and then closed.
But because of my pig headed stubborness and refusal to let it lie, I finally got my refund.
I didn't get the return postage to them which I also wanted but I did get the original fees and postage back.
So keep going with a claim. Don't take their excuses and keep banging on until you get whats rightfully yours back.
Its paid for my tyres to be fitted so I'm feeling much better about that now. :)
Cheers,
Carl
