I loved the way he actually ran out of ammo (and not just for the sake of the plot) and eactually picked up discarded weapons to use.

I also liked that we didn't get his back story, 15-30 minutes of him being trained, being on an op in a flashback.

Just a very "real" guy that was a bit handy and was trained and the fact went light on the "Hollywood Magic" was refreshing.

Oh and Stu - the DSA do some good DVD's - they probably cover what to do if you clip another vehicle and what the Red Circle with the White Horizontal Line means :)

TakenIf it hadn't been for all the comments below, I thought you meant you had taken advantage of the promotion code :D
You mean Liam Neeson? not steven Spielberg?
I've never heard of it, but I had actually already chosen it as one of Lovefilm's recommendations - I'll look forward to it all the more now, hope it doesn't disappoint with all this build up :D

Taken!
Man on fire - One of my all time favs
Tropic thunder - yup on my list :)
Madagascar 2 - seriously? suppose I should see 1 first as well then

Bad Boys 2!got it on SKY+

tis a close call for me, love 'em both!Same as all sequels, they get better, but the shock factor of the first one can't be repeated therefore original is best (even if subsequent ones are better :))

Do you have a blue ray player? If you don't it won't work....I have seen people try all maner of things to make play back units work, including somehow getting 2 tapes into a digi beta deck:rolleyes:

"Brick"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick_(film)

Its a bit strange, actually Liz said it was "****e" but theres something about it that catches me and I've watched it loads of times and I really enjoy it.

Another film in a similar odd sort of vein is "The Ice Storm"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ice_Storm_(film)

I really enjoy the black and white War films from the 50's "Ice Cold in Alex" is an absololute corker

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_cold_in_alex

I also like Biopic's

the Johnny Cash one "Walk the Line" is my favourite, with the Ray Charles one "Ray" a close second.
