Hi All,

While trying to track down a second hand restrictor kit for 2000 W reg SV650S I'm purchasing in a couple of weeks, I though it best to also get a price for a Dyno test, and figured i'd let you all know...

CMC in Chesterfield are currently offering dyno test half price at £25.00. Seems like a good price.

Good stuff.

Dyno runs can be abit dodgy for bike tyres I have heard......they can get to hot and delaminate because there is now enough wind cooling them.

Also if you have a carbon exhaust they can get to hot and melt the resin.

Aye but you've gotta do it sometimes. I've done several dyno runs on a tyre and then several 1000 miles after. I'm not dead yet...

Whatever, £25 is still a bit pricey for a simple power run, £50 is just blatantly taking the pi$$. It's either marketing to say it was that, or all of their customers are totally retarded.

Beowulf charge £20 a power run or £30 an hour.

Halifax, down barkisland, you have been nearby with me, carnivore and dizzyblonde.

I should probably add IIRC to that figure of £30/hr.

Also IIRC he has yoshi box to remap stock ECU's.
