questions questions questions im prety sure i know the answer but just putting it to the masses will a k4 engine need a wiring loom, ecu, cdi, reg/rec and dials from a k4 or will it work on a curvy loom and carbs thanks

The basic answer forms this equation

Pointy engine + curvey frame = Lots of work x (No benefits + Lots of cursing)

Good old motorcycle maths....

No just fit the curvy ignition pickup and rotor, and the carb rubbers. Use stock carbs and ignition system.

Curvy engine blown... pointy engine procured cheaply is the only way it makes sense.

stator, rotor, intake boots, short exhaust header on rear cylinder and depending on exhaust pipe you might need to eliminate oil cooler.
