and the winner is......The Abba Stand...

Seriously, WTF

My Abba stand just arrived, and I thought I'd just have a quick look at it put together, seems simple eh..

I really should have stretched first, I now know why its so expensive.......I've paid for 30 rolls of cling-film and a 10 minute workout :)

There's protecting your package, and then there's being a little bit silly....

It seemed to just laugh at me :D

[Pointless rant over]

Sony Playstation got that award from me when they returned my faulty console back to me. It was literally put in a cardboard box with no protection and lots of room to move around.
Suffice to say it was ****ed when I plugged it in.
Complained and got a reconditioned console, new controller and my warranty extended on receipt of my new console.

must go to cartridge monkey for the box they sent a pack of 50 6*4 photo cards in.

so contents are 6"*4"*1/2" thick

the box they were packed in was 18"*12"*8" with one hell of a lot of packing

Some of the chemicals we get come in tiny tiny bottles.

yet the box is huge, and the packaging material is plentiful

I bought a warning sign for the door at work. about 16" x 12" x 0.1"
It came in a box the size of an engine.

+1 for the abba stand packaging, I was amazed, never seen so much cling film in all my life. Attempted to unravel it first......soon gave up on that and butchered it with a Stanley Knife.

My mate sent me some new new knee sliders for up coming trackdays - as a laugh he sent them in a box measuring 2ftx2ftx2ft full of those poxy chips that went every where while I was trying to find them

I once received a CD from Dell in a box about 18x12x12". Just a CD in a paper slip, lying in the bottom of an immense empty box.

hey if you saw how they were packed you'd think they were packed by a load of battery hens:wink: Think its something like 146 eggs per minute, it may be more these days. I hate easter:smt074

My new fairings for Suzy arrived yesterday, in a mahhhhoooosive box, well packaged full of paper and bubble wrap. Got them out, inspected them.....can't for the life in me pack them in the box the way they came out.....why does that always happen.

Busters sent me 2 indicator bulbs in an 18x18x18inch box once. The best bit was, one of them was broken on arrival.
