View Full Version : Exhaust Material
I am hoping to buy a new exhaust for my bike soon and think im going to get a Fuel exhaust. The only question is if I should get stainless steel or titanium? What are the differences? I know the obvious difference is weight (and cost, obviously), but is one material much stronger than the other? less likely to chip/scratch as bad?
Also does any one have any pictures of a black sv with the gold or coloured cans on them, if so can you post them.
Cheers,
Andy

I have the stainless steel oval can. My bike has been used everyday and regularly coated in londons finest crap...yet my fuel exhaust still shins up all lovely :D
sounds great too
Was just a bit worried cos my standard can has only covered 850 miles and it has plently of marks and chips on it from the cr@p on the road (i guess).
