Back firing and fuel cut off above 6000RPM

Last month I replaced my regulator as it was faulty. Lately I noticed my rev counter to jam abit. I noticed unusual back firing and the fuel seems to cut off above 6000rpm. I ordered a new TPS as it may be faulty.
Any tips anyone please...im desperate
