Are the wheels the same colour as the plastics?

as title says are the wheels on my curvy k2 the same paint code as my plastics. the paint code is YD8

i asked before but i dnt think any one real looked.

That's Suzuki Sonic Silver Metallic.

Do a search, some folks found a smoothrite that is close enough for chips etc.

I did more digging for you.

AFAIK, there are only two wheel colours used on the SV over the years.


1999-'X' used Y6G - Shining Silver. (light silver colour)
2000-'Y' used 12R - Tight Silver Metallic (dark charcoal grey colour)
2001 'K1' onwards (inc. pointy) went back to using Y6G - Shining Silver
