Funny noise at about 8k rpm

Just noticed this today. Hopefully it's nothing but just to put my mind at ease....

When I'm pushing on in 5th at about 7/8k rpm then engine noise isn't constant. It sort of goes churn, churn, churn, churn. It's hard to describe:rolleyes:

I don't remember hearing it before. Any thoughts?

Could be lots of things, I'd start with the chain though...

Bingo! Loose as hell. I adjusted it just a couple of weeks ago though:scratch:

I think chains do tend to let go quite quickly when at the end of their life, you may need a new one!
