Right we have fitted the new dogbones and I think they are going to be ok!

I can't actually tell properly coz I can't put my legs down, the footpegs are EXACTLY where I need to put my feet! And it isn't just a case of moving my legs in front, behind or round the pegs coz I haven't got enough leg!

So next problem - I need to get the pegs moved!

I've looked up rear sets, very expensive - if this is my only choice then I'm just gonna have to!

But I've found these? Ebay link. Are they what I need?

would it not end up being simpler and cheaper to undergo surgery to make your legs 6 inches longer?;)

Do remember those plates also shift the pegs up or down (depending on what way up you fit them) and also the gear linkage will either be further away or require a longer shift rod.

A shifter rod extender comes with it! Is there a problem as to moving the pegs up or down? I personally don't mind as long as they are back!

well as it's your riding position, only you can say whether it's an issue or not really, down will relax the knee a bit and likewise up with do the opposite.

Ah ok! No thats fine, at the end of the day if i can touch the floor without bashing my legs on em thats great!

should i go for the ones with loads of holes?? The single hole takes it 1"back and up? Do you think the other would be the same with just other settings in between or would allow for more? Thank you

The cheaper ones look to be the same as the max on the other ones to me, however if you've got a friendly metal worker handy, get some made for what you need, have to be fairly solid (take you full weight when cornering), but they are just a set of parallel off set holes.

I do know someone, where would i get the shifter extension from?

once again, bit of rod the right length, cut a thread on each end (make sure one end is LH threaded and the other RH'd), but if not somewhere like demon tweeks (online) will probably do one.

Cheers Mark.
