Well I'm having a terrible day so thought I would add some randomness to the GM.

I like cheese, I think Emental is my favourite.

Emmental is bland, rubbery and tasteless

now Jarlsberg (probably the best cheese in the world) is similar but has a much better taste.

Comte is probably the best cheese I've eaten. You have to eat it at room temperature, on it's own (no bread, crackers, pickle etc.) It's very expensive too.

Emental has a subtle flavour and the brand I buy is nor rubbery at all. Can't remember the brand, it comes in a red pack though...........

Maybe Leerdamer is somesuch.

I also like really strong cheddar. Yum!

Mature Cheddar
Crusty baguette
Chunky pickle
salad
YUM!

Now, a Mature Cheddar from the Hartington Cheese Factory takes some beating.

Mmmh Brie in a toasted sandwich with a little Marmite. Now that's just sexy.

Used to go out with a french bloke (Maitre de)

"What would you like me to bring you back from france"
He'd say.
"Cheese" I'd say.

Ended up with cheese and Lingerie but wasn't complaining....

My ex once brought me some cheese back from Paris. Unfortunately she chose a particularly smelly cheese and it was a hot day. She said that people were giving her very dirty looks on the Eurostar.

Worked in a deli for years, and sold many different cheeses.
One very nice cheese is Cornish Yarg, certainly not boring
