I can remember reading (on this website i think) about a little device you can get to do a temp repair on your footbrake/gear lever but cannot remember what it's called and can't find a link anywhere.
Any ideas please folks?
Thanks
MODs if this is in the wrong place can you please move it?

You can get the temporary repair one that you can re-use and carry under the seat or a peg that fits onto your broken lever for a permanent and good looking repair. Thought up and sold by one of the members on here :)

No problem Appollo.
In fact it reminded me to dig out the one I've got and put it in my bumbag. No good for the Duke unfortunately, but might get somebody else out of trouble.
So thank you mate! :D

Hmmmm why is this? Does it have some kind of weird lever?

Well never tried it obviously LP, but I think the levers are too thin and narrow. The levers are quite small so I'm looking to find a cheap pair to ziptie to the bike somewhere.
Be very happy if the Fixerpeg would suffice though. :D

How thin and narrow are they?
The fixer-peg will screw down onto something as thin as paper using the center screw only and using all three screws for maximum security approximately 4mm x 7mm.

Well it seems that the FP will do quite nicely. Trouble is, it's a blue one. Have to get a yellow one now John.
So is that a not very subtle hint you'll be joining us for all or part of the Peaks run? :smt038
