Last night I hit a bird/duck thing that decided to waddle across the road as I was travelling at 60. Swerved to miss but the fooker just kept running at me.. so a burst fairing and blood and feathers on my boot.

Anyway.. luckily I had a spare left side.. So back on the road. :smt038

Hey, Magnum
You don't HAVE to fall off every time a bird ( feathered or otherwise ) wanders in front of you!

I slowed down, had a quick shifty down at my foot and saw the crack.. so just kept going (headed home)

Oh right. Nice one for controlling it then! At least the bird died ;)

Got home, put duck tape on and got the Mrs to take my spare side in the car to my brothers garage and I followed her there. Changed the fairing and jobs a good'un
