hi just thought id say hello after just joining the forum, ive just bought an 03 sv650s fully faired in silver, nice bike and got it for a good price, ive also got a 2007 hyosung gt650r the bikes are very similar to ride and performance wise, the sv is noticeably lighter and has a better all round finish, that said both bikes are very rider friendly, im hoping to get as much info from the forum and hopefully meet up with some of you on rides out

lol, its not the paint or anything that lets the hyo down , its just little things, the seats look quite cheap, the clock surrounds is not the best looking, some of the metals used dont seem to be as good a quality on the hyo as they seem on the sv, but im still pleased with both my bikes, they are very similar but different at the same time:D

awesome :D when i was at kingston uni, there was a guy who rode in on the GT250 every day...I kept an eye on it through winter, and i must say, i was quite impressed by how well it coped.

certainly beter than the more recent SV's....

i havent got a spot of rust on mine, no grassy moss or other ugly growths, the bike has been used for the last 2 years all year round, until someone reversed over it and smashed all my fairings, so whilst im getting that back on the road i thought id get another bike, once my hyo is all back together ill probably use the sv for the track or vice a versa!! how does the k3 hold up, any real problem areas for rust and breakages???

any real problem areas for rust

Not many. Only anything not made of plastic will corrode on the SV.
