You need a set? I can do you a deal...

sorry, can't help with the car, but it's a vauxhall which means it's probably held together with string and spittle anyway;)

Sadly i cant hear it at work. I do know that some of the VXRs have had issues with the turbo hoses splitting, or popping off. Im sure Dai 'chavved up corsa and proud of it' mo will be along in a minute though ;)

So as not to disappoint...

It's a Corsa, you're a chav, what did you expect!!!

Now, onto the sound....it's been a while since I used to live where these went past the house every five minutes, but yes, it does sound maybe a tad louder than normal, but I am certainly no expert!

As for being a chav.....i'm just quoting you for amusement........don't think you're a chav just for having a corsa. Now.....if you've reholstered it in Burberry, I may have to rethink!

Hi guys,

This is my Corsa VXR at cold start. I think it sounds noisier than it should. Opinions? You can listen to it with Quicktime or similiar.

No, I don't think it does. Vauxhall don't want to look at it under warranty though. They want it to get worse first.

Make them. You may need to get your beligerant old man head on.....but go in, stand at the desk and just don't move until they book it in to be checked out. If youdon't get anywhere, write a nice polite, but very strongly worded letter to head office, complaining officially about the service recieved at your local dealership and that you will expect a positive response, confirming that they will indeed have your vehicle checked over within 14 days.

CC the letter to the dealership manager as well and I bet you'll get a call from him sharpish saying that you're booked in!

Stonking good email!

I have an Astra and I have developed a rattle but the dealer is denying anything is wrong with or that the rattle can even be heard! Most annoying. Perhaps its a Vauxhall policy to push it until you are out of warranty.

PS: Let me know how you get on as I may do the same!
