In Fowlers this afternoon, had something to eat, nice quality food :---)

Had a little look in the second hand section and came across this...

It's BEAUTIFUL...

Realised, this is THE bike I nearly bought last year, I had a deposit on it and everything but then found the Blade I actually bought with extra's on it, less mileage, decent amount of tread on tyres and more service history for £500 less than this one.

A year later on, Fowlers still have it, and it it still exactly the same price as it was last Feb-April (I know this because I kept going and looking at it from Feb last year)

Sat on it and the missus welled up a little, and I got a little lump in my throat..

I MISS MY BLADE..

How much though? If it's been there a year ... sounds like you've got some room to bargain :)

I am not saying anything more on the matter for fear of talking myself into more debt.....

Although we have already discussed this. Not only was it overpriced then, it is deffo overpriced now, although they have put a new set of tyres on, the ones on last year were very nearly down to the marker but they refused to change it unless it was an MOT failure (a single days rideout would have taken it over). Bolts holding the front calipers together are rusty as ****.

STOP IT!!

That's what I reckon.....I say if we had the money, we could go in with an offer of £2k and work up, prob get it for £2.5k.

I did get bottom lippy myself because I 'king loved that bike!

I was indeed. Signed for it and everything. Now wish I hadn't. Going to try and cancel the purchase.

Is it me, or are their part-ex values a bit crappy? And their second handers overpriced....

hmm.

Maybe I should have saved £20 on fuel and stayed in Slough....

Part ex is always bad value. I reckon you get 60-70%of the bikes value privately.

I hate the way that second hand bikes in dealers are thick with grease/oil to try and make them look shiny.
