Right, some of you might know I'm a topographical surveyor, we recently had some equipment stolen by pikey scum, about £20,000 worth, and we'd like to help minimise the risk of it happening again. So I'm looking at getting an alarm that we can lock to the tripod, meaning once they move the alarm will sound alerting us to the fact that it's moved and hopefully freaking the pikey scum into leaving it alone.
It has to fit to a tripod like this:

So far looking at the Oxford Boss over the Zena one, as it's a padlock type that could slip over the tripod leg and beeps as soon as it moves, then sounds the alarm if the movement continues
Any other ideas?
