Right so I need to think about what I want to do on my hen night/weekend. I’ve help Drew’s best man with the help of my brother in law plan his stag do and completely forgot about my own.

Anyway, was going to leave it to my bridesmaids to organise but the one who is old enough, is my sister and I know she will not be bothered to sort anything out, and is really busy with her daughter and other things. My other bridesmaids are 15, 6 and 20 weeks so not really of an age to plan a hen do. So that leaves it up to me! :(

Right the problems. It needs to be suitable for a 20 week old up to a 61 year old. I don’t really want to get of my face on alcohol, (drew’s mum will do that for me) I have from Saturday lunchtime until Sunday evening when the guys get back, and I have to stop everybody from falling out and really chill out before the so call 'stress' I’m being told about kicks in the month before the wedding. O the dates I’m looking at are 23rd & 24th May (the second bank holiday)

I’ve already had two suggestions, my mum said we sound all go to this pub that does a 3 course meal for £12.95, not really the send of I want and drew’s mum said we could go to a spa day, as much as that sounds nice it’s the money aspect and also I don’t think that is suitable for everybody.

I know I’m asking for the impossible but you guys are so could at stuff like this.

Thanks in advance

lily x :D

If you want to do the whole spa thingy you can have home visits. You can arrange for a therapist(s) to come to your house and do manicures, pedicures, masage etc. That way you just get people to your house, buy your own bubbly, get a choc fountain on the go and some hen party decs and wahey! relaxing party!!!

When i was maid of honour, I booked us into a hotel that did dinner bed and breakfast and a spa treatment for £100. That was at Fistral Spa Newquay. It's worth calling around.
I created a bag for each person which contained hen party accessories and games.

The My Pamper Party thing looks fab and a decent price to keep the budget under control.

Why don't you have My Pamper Party come out to you on the Saturday afternoon (or to your mums) to give you all your treatments.
On Saturday night, go out to watch a show or if you don't want to leave the children with babysitters, go out for a meal and back home for a night of girly chick flicks or.....and always a great laugh after a few drinks.......play the old fashioned board games and things like charades.

Then on Sunday, you could all go to a zoo or theme park just for the day so that you can give the children a fun day, have fun watching them and you all get to have a nice day out together, having fun or relaxing as you all see fit.

That way, the people that want to be pampered get pampered, those that want to go for a meal get a meal and those that want to play get to play!

If you need help making calls hun just give me a shout, I'm home with not much to do at the moment!

What a nightmare though having to do it as well as all the wedding arrangements. IF I ever agree to become Mrs. Stretch......I'm gonna make it really, get rid of Stretchie and have all the girls come to mine for a weekend of papmering, food, nights out and days out! Cheap as chips and loads of fun!

Just make sure that the agency dont accidentally send Stretchie you your place as the entertainment instead of some other gig he should be at..... :smt026

My gf just organised one and due to a similar situation to yours (large age range of brides) and the fact she doesn't drink went for a bridal shower instead of the usual get tanked up on tart fuel and dress like hookers. ;)

I'd not heard of one being done in the UK although had seen them on American TV. Essentially a party in honour of the bride with games and present themed around her. Not so good for you to organise if it's your activity though!

I'd look into Spa days, they're not as expensive as you might imagine, provided you go to the spa direct and don't book through a hen night website. I went to one around new year's day and despite being a reasonably unreconstructed male, quite enjoyed it.

My prices are very reasonable...

KFC Bargain Bucket and 20 bottles of white lightning? ... and... a nice ride :D

Yep, that pretty much covers the cost, and you can guarantee it'll be a night to remember. I even offer copies of the police reports and transcriptions of the Coast Guard radio conversations as a memento...

I prefer the traditional methods of contact. Take the skin of a ram and dressed only in it dance 9 times widdershins round a deconsecrated church when the Moon is full. Paint your naked torso with my name in the blood of a black hen and light 7 candles stolen from a Place of Worship.
Or email. Whatevers easiest really. I accept all major credit cards, promises of the first born of the marriage and Cafe Nero loyalty cards

Lil if you are doing a dinner at a restaurant etc then you could have a colour scheme, so everyone has to come dressed in pink and black or something like that?
How many people are going in theory?
Limo rides?
Male stripper?.....please have one!!!

Pink and black would match the bridesmaids dresses lol. But if i'm now thinking of going out. (not that i will get to drunk) a theme is the order of the day!!!!!!

Don't really want a stripper  (may see what i'm missed out on) :p

May need to investigate the limo idea?!!

Really going to go with Alton Towers on the Sunday as will be a good day out, and a recovery day depending on how bad people are! :D
