What do you want?

Looks, performance or sound?

I went for 20% looks 30% performance 50% sound.

By making my Blue Flame a stubby, I got the look.
Sound was too loud for me & performance was slow.
I made a fake baffle for the bottom and inserted the top baffle,
The performance increased and I got an angry "bark" from the exhaust which I can live with for a daily commute, alerts other road users to my pressence but still say's "but I HAVE got the baffles in Sir"

Two of my mates however have got racefit cans on theirs, one with an R6 & one with a Gixer1000.
Both have the look, had the performance and sound.......for 5 minutes
they are soo loud that I have made baffles for them both.
They have now got the Look and sound but their performance must be down by loads.

The can was 63mm straight through.
It is now 32mm perforated and blanked off 150mm down the inside

thats 50% looks 0% performance 50% sound
all for £500 ](*,):smt075

I'm not interested in performance. I'd say 40% looks and sound, 20% performance. I don't like to see performance drop off, i get a kick no doubt, but i love to hear it rumbling away behind me, and admiring my bike is great (when it's not on the floor ^.^)

Just leaving the standard can on the K6 GSXR, sounds pretty smart, not too loud, good looks IMHO and it seems nippy enough for me.

With my slightly scuffed paint job atm im going for 50% Sound 50% performance... Fortunatly for me Baffles out of my Blue flames = more power (about 2BHP across the rev range! Happy days :drink:
