I'll be hanging around the Dukes head in Putney from about 1pm to watch the start but primarily to have a beer or two. Is anyone here thinking of going?
Jon
PS - weather looks okay, cloudy with sunny spells 10 degrees.

I hope your not drinking and riding? The whole point of the boat race is to get lashed and have an argument with the missus. I don't have a missus anymore so I don't have to go!

No drink riding. And no argument with the missus as she isnt going!
I would have been in Putney today but got settled watching the F1 and couldn't be arsed to make a one-stop journey on the tube.

I had the same conundrem. Settled for watching the F1 live at 6am and then the boat race. It has been a long day.
I bailed on the rowing completely and went to the Spur for three racks of ribs. Now at the stadium for stock cars and bangers - weird watching the racing in daylight.
