Just been sent a free BT home hub. Don't really need it as I have a wireless linksys router. Is it worthwhile changing it?

Don`t bother , Emperors new clothes if you ask me and my BT HH2 is a pain in the spam javelin as sometimes it lets me stream video and audio to my Xbox 360 and then other times it blocks it . With no apparent reason , all firewalls turned off , the cat thrown out the window in case static affects it , forums searched , beggerin thing allows me then a film later it blocks it .................. shove it on a shelf as a backup or something .
Actually ..... line up a load of Home Hubs and I will see if I can jump them <------- Starts SV up and motions to everyone to move the ramp away as I won`t need it

nowt wrong with mine
I'd stick with the Linksys.
Its made by thompson, its a repackaged Speedtouch, the likes of O2 and BeThere use these as their routers, but they look diffrent. Its fairly good, only think i find is that speedtouch modems in the past had the tendancy to freeze up.

Use the linksys, I'm pretty sure my connection issues are down to the homo hub
to this leyman its fine. does what I want it to, never had a connection problem, can't ask for more really
But the BT Home hub helps the bloke from My Family to keep in touch with the woman from Silent Witness/Rome so it must be good... :pirat:

Mine is the older one. On occation it enjoys reconnecting for no apparent reason... :(
What could I use to replace it? Ive looked into home hubs/routers but most of them at best have very mixed reviews :smt093

correction it's my bt voyager pci card that's fecking things up, driver re-install is a temp fix.
Anything really, I like quite netgear stuff dunno if they do home routers though - would have thought they would.
Is it worth it though when ISP give out their ****ty ones free?
