Hey all, just had a spill on the a339, i'm o.k but the bikes not too good. Went under the back of a volvo after the drivers girlfriend screamed "there's a bike!" and decided not to overtake the cyclist. Oh well.
new forks requires, R/h and L/H switch gear, mirrors, clip-ons, RH crash bung, viper can and both levers (left hand side of bike went under back of the volvo, naturally it was unscathed!!)
If any of you stopped or rode past, cheers for all the help and checking if i was o.k, was nice to see so many people giving the thumbs n stuff :)
Ouch.
Get yourself checked out properly, the pain can come a couple of days after an off.
The bike will get healed over time.

bad news about your off but as already has been said - the bike can be fixed and make sure you are ok.
May it be your last ever accident. I nearly had one today too. Good luck to us all on these roads full of imbeciles.

That's probably best I found out I had a broken pelvis after trying to stand up (the incredible pain from the boys needed to be walked off) and realising I couldn't move my legs. That was a scary hour or so.

Yeah when I was all strapped up in the ambulance though after a bit I realised I could wiggle my toes so the panic started to decline.

I particularly like the way my R&G crash bung snapped off as soon as it hit the deck :(

I was going to post that the crash bungs worked then...
I'd get on to R&G with a few pictures to show how "great" they worked...
A the least I'd expect my money back for the defective "crash protection".
Listen to the forum, get your self checked out dude.

right o.k... Overtook two cars and ahead there was a volvo and just in front a cyclist. Pulled back in just before the double whites, decided the volvo was going to overtake the cyclist so i didn't have to brake that hard. Then the guys girlfriend screamed and he slammed on and decided he wasn't going to overtake afterall. I braked, lost the front and slid under him.
ohh nooooooooo .. I hope you dont feel too bad in the morning and have got everything checked out.

full knowledge that it could have been at lot worse was what got me through though lol. First few days were horrible coz I could see the sun out the hospital window!

Ahh I'm yet to experience lamposts. So far had cars curbs and snow (which was pleasant). Face planting the audi at 40ish was rather un pleasant, not as unpleasant as 'the boys' hitting the sv's hooge tank before it kicked me off though:shock:
