Just had this from Sarah at Banditmania. As most of you know, Banditmania also sell kit for the SV. See Miles' comment below though.

Just had this from Miles and I've written to Sarah asking for clarification.

I see that you're plugging the banditmania sale, and thought prudent to let you know that they are advertising SV1000 lowers as fitting a 650, which they wont. Maybe worth a comment before someone gets stung?

I'd be surprised if the SV1000 lowers fitted as I assume the brackets supplied mount on the engine, and as the engine is completely different on the SV1000.......

Yeah i notice these on ebay today. So thou is deffo different to 650 then?

Defo different. Some *insert insult* sold me some 1000 ones for an 650 on ebay, that I had to sell on. They look the same, but are different. Do a search on here, its been covered a few times.

i found the postage time from bandit mania appalling when i ordered my lowers.

Also on their site the prices look brilliant, but thats excluding vat.

some of the stuff seems a bit steep, the rear cowls are £165 and £39 for the inserts??!! but some of there items seem quite reasonably priced , the master cylinder covers look nice, i like shiny bits!!

The lowers themselves are physically the same but the listings do say there may be the odd bracket that will need remaking for the thou but at only £200 if you are able to rig one up its worth it.
