Looks great, what year is it? With the general shininess it looks brand new but then the forks are silver which left me unsure.

Ah, that makes sense...I looked at the picture a few times and thought that's got to be a new bike and then wondered if the black forks were for the faired versions only. As far as I'm aware the differences between the K8 and the K9 are very small.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!!

Just to answer a couple of questions.....

The exhaust sounds very....er....crisp? Loud? But nice!!! SO pleased I came back to the SV!!!

The colour is K8, Grey, Apparently called 'storm-grey'!?!?

Yes, if you look back at my OLD SV pics, I keep my bikes MINT.

I'm very pleased with the colour, wanted black, but glad I went for Grey!!

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!

If anyone needs an exhaust modding for the lambda probe, (fitted on late SVs, PM me, I can give you details of where I got mine done!!!)

Lovely - some red rim tape would finish it off nicely ... ;)
I'd take those hideous spots off the tank though , and probably see about getting the footrest units colour matched to the frame.

Great looking bike there mate, only thing that would make it better is painting / powercoating forks matt black to match the frame and ditto for the hangers as previously mentioned.

Those rubbish 'blobs' have gone, they kept peeling off!

As did the Suzuki tank protector!!

They've all gone now.

Got better ones.
