:) Lots of Threads, just do a Brake Caliper Adapter Bracket Search, it will be easy to satisfy yourself,

I also have Caliper Adapter Brackets available for the Nissin CBR 600 F4 - F4i Front Calipers to directly bolt onto the SV650 as well,

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair

Sorry to bring this thread up again after this long but the thing goes on and on with Blair.
I'm a member of the Greek V-Strom Club and forum and many people from my club have bought their brackets from Blair in order to upgrade the lousy brakes of the V-Strom.
9 out of 10 cases, including me, have misaligned calipers which are being aligned by using washers. The most recent example of this is me, I received me brackets a week ago, February 2nd, 2011 and the problem that Blair insists on solving is still present and haunting us. Blair has shown me with his attitude that he is not a trustworthy person and it's too bad because we spent a lot of money on his stuff (superbrace etc).

I'm in constant communication with Blair for a few days now, I sent him pictures of my MISALIGNED calipers and the answers were all in a mood "I can't see the problem".

I'm fed up with him and I stopped trying to point out the obvious. The communication between my and Blair is available to anyone who wants to see it, it's saved in my PC and awaits.

Thank you all very much in advance for listening what I have to say.

Greek V-Strom Club & forum

Try there, if you read this thread you can see the problem is nothing new. Maybe people should keep their eye on Kawa ZR7 forums for him trying to unload these on them!

any news yet as to whether these actually work or are people still having trouble? Does anyone know any other manufacturers? TWF don't seem to sell them anymore googling can't seem to find them

Well over a year after I voiced concerns on here, and people are still having problems now. I am not holding my breath.

yeah i'll try e-mailing zoran see if he can help me out at all... I was reading up a little more on these on the svrider forum where there is a thread started by blair selling them and people on there are reporting that they have had more luck with them and these threads date back only to last summer so maybe they have been sorted out. But people have written on there that they have done it with the tokico calipers and nissin calipers and the pads are sitting just below the bevel of the rotor so maybe they have been fixed.

Go on there and say they don't fit and see how long post lasts

i read somewhere that there are also some 6 pot calipers that can be used with either the tokico or nissin brackets, does anyone know which 6 pot calipers it was that can be used? i think the k1 gsxr1000 calipers can be but i'm pretty sure there were quite a few more that could be as well... anybody know? (friend of mine asking, not me i think thats a bit over kill for the sv650 but whatever)

I would like to happily post that I bought a pair of these brackets and installed them with a pair of gsxr calipers and they work brilliantly. There are no issues with the brackets to worry about. They line up perfectly so that the pads sit just below the bevel of the discs. I currently have them set up with a cbr954rr (the last blade before they went radial) master cylinder and I have to say that they work lovely and give much more comfortable and effective braking and dont break your wrist if you have to brake promptly. Thanks very much Blair

I meant to post in here too.

I know there have been problems with Blair in the past but he sorted me out with CBR adapters earlier this year and I am extremely pleased. Good communication, good item and friggin' awesome brakes :D
