Had my first drive today! Had to wait a full week (and a week can be a long time...) for my licenceplate and registration......
It's my first bike, a '99 SV650S. Although I haven't got that much reference, I'm allready a total fan of the ride and handling :riding:

You must have gone there for the beer, I can think of no other reason why anyone goes to Belgium. Watch the cage drivers there, they are all nuts.

Welcome to the .org....

I'm often in Liege for work and a beer or two. Not sure about the Antwerp area, but the roads to the east are pretty sweet.

LOL
Belgium is a horrible country to drive. Untill recently you could get your driverslicence together with a box of cereals. The roads are in terrible condition and Belgiums can't drive.

The people aren't that nice either so all there's left is the beer. Maybe that's the problem Belgiums have with themselves? ;)

South and east of Liege is fantastic. When I had a little sportscar (MR2) I went over there a couple of weekends every summer. On a bike it's better to pop over the border in Germany and go towards Monschau. That's drivers-heaven with exciting corners and asphalt in superb condition.

Funny; my gf's father is English. His family still lives in the UK (he was the only one moving to Holland). When we visited my gf's grandmother and -father, her grandma asked: "Are Belgiums still that horrible drivers?" LOL and she's 89 yrs old :)

There is a guy called Race_end I think who lives in Leuven. Get your bike down to the ardennes, then you'll have some nice biking roads!

Tsk, a dutchman living in Flanders, whatever next... :)
