Of course each to his own, but does anyone disagree when I say this looks totally ridiculous. Although I imagine it would make a pretty good tourer !!

I don't get this high tail crap the yanks appear to have come up with.
Looks bizarre and ruins any line the bike originally may have had.

"Is it still possible to fit a pillion seat?"

*awaits reply*

Would need step ladders to get on

Answer

"hi possibly but it would take a lot of work, change seat unit, source ducati footpegs & rear seat and i think the pillion position would be too high many thanks josie"

Yep, I agree - I just don't see the point - But I also don't see the point in WWF, Oval race circuits and a preference for large cc automatic cars !

I think you'll find that the 'High, Short Tail' look is actually more of a German thing than American.

I wonder if it is uncomfy. Suppose looking at it more and more, you were to get the front wheel up, you'd be a little better off wheelying(sp? Wheelieing?) it. Can see the attraction for custom/fighter'ers, a lot are into this sort of high tail work.

EDIT: If you rotate the image slightly to make the seat and unit sit normal-ish sort of state, the front wheel isn't THAT high off the deck.

It's something from the german streetfighter builders.

The Americans tend to stretch and chrome their (orrible) "streetfighters"

It's something which can look really good, but in this case... fail.

well most yanky doodles love that sort of monstrosity... You would have to be purely blind to think that fits.. Mayby if it had a HUGE rear wheel? Dam wish I had photoshop on my iPhone now :(
maybe josie is 8ft tall?

Edit : can someone just ask the question to the seller? "why is the back so high?" I would but I canna get on ebay at the mo.. :(

Ah my bad, I must confess to not knowing a single thing about the German "streetfighter" scene, or that there is one.
Either way, it seems like a mod for mod's sake rather than an improvement.
