i have the chance to buy one of these at the end of this year, the bike is mint, and is owed by a bike machanic, and has all the extras you could possible want, BUT the colour sucks, the bottom fairing looks totaly out of place, so if i do get it its going to be painted, i like repsol or HM plant paint, but was thinking somthing "differant" obvoisly in yellow, i quite like the honda wing, like on the SP1.........

dunno realy? maybe a hovis sponsered race rep, or is there any race teams with yellow bikes? maybe just yellow with a bid black honda wing, like it already has, but bigger?

not bad,

i have been looking about, and i think a copy of the HM plant bike, but yellow with the oval hovis logo, instead of the oval HM plant?

Each to they're own Hovi me old mucka, but why would you want to do this. Race rep - yeah, understandable. Own colour scheme - yeah OK, but that will be so personal to you, you will never be able to sell it.

My £0.02

Doesn't that then rather render the concept of a 'copy' or 'replica' invalid?

It's either a copy or it's not.

It's either a copy or it's not. what i meant was the same as the HM plant, but in yellow, with hovis logo instead of the HM plant.

so all the stickers would be in the same place, as the 2 logos are the same shape,

Just one point I'd make. If someone had posted an eBay link to a bike someone had done this kind of thing to with, for example, a bright green paint job and a 'Tesco' logo on, the .Org would be queuing up to take the **** out of it and call the owner a bell-end.

Why not go Subtle

Yellow bike, swap the honda wing with an ear of corn effect like the attachment would be but in solid black instead of outline

Then change the Honda to Hovis on the underside of the bike

And that would be treating Hovis any different than we already do in what way? :compress:

yeah, i have been thinking of doing that for a while

oh, and i forgot to say, that i would not be painting the origanal plastics, i would remove them and keep them so i could replace them, IF i ever sold it
