Yes it will. You will only have a maximum of the first 9 gears. You will be pedalling like a loon and going nowhere.

There are 6 gears on one side - i think its 6 lol..Just played about with those and it seemed ok. Will soon find out when i get halfway and the whole thing conks out on me!
