Where's the rest of it?
Don't like it, but it certainly is individual and doesn't reek like a recently posted TL.

Ah that was voted as SVof the month on SVRider (I think), very different and not bad for a pointy.

i really like it! tho at the same time it looks kinda 'unfinished', could do with a hugger of sum sort and hide the nasty bolts under the seat and job would be a good 'un!
Fine, as long as you dont live near a dairy farm :D

Look aside for the moment - what would it feel like to ride? the obvious weight difference and what about suspension? I personally don't like it, it looks like a CATD and i don't think I could trust it.
I like it a lot, but I don't think it could handle my ample frame...
Opinions?.......
It's my opinion that he shoudn't park it in such a rough area where the little scrotes steal things, like the **** end of the bike.
Nice forks though, and a different back wheel?
It's all HERE (http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=93702&highlight=mufflerectomy).
I like nicely chopped stuff but this is too much I think.

I'd like to know if a big poof of wind came and blew him off that seat, how long his ass would stay in one piece? :?
Seriously uncomfortable looking.

Scrap that.... I think he'd be more concerned how he'd stop his nuts from getting mangled!

Funnily enough it looks better without a rider on it. I'd guess the guy is over 6' and the mods make it look even smaller than an SV already is!
I'd like to see something like that with the seat lower, more of a bum scoop, the odds and sods chopped off, the tank cleaned up and a clearly defined space between the front of the seat and the tank so it looks more like the seat is a floater.

The nearest real world bike I've seen to the image of my hypothetical "I'll build it one day, modern day cafe racer" that I have in my head. I like that type of seat, but would want it to be a bit thicker; something more akin to the Wraith's seat.

I seem to remember the write up on this, I like it. It's different, unlike the vast majority of "customised" SV's sporting an end-can, some stickers and a fender extender!
The front end looks very professionally done. IIRC it's a fairly young lad who made the tail thing, kudos for hiding the pointies excessive wiring and underseat gubbins, and for the weight saving. Seat needs more of a kick upwards at the back though.

It ain't a standard shock. I'm fairly sure for handling it would show a stock SV a clean pair of heels, what with the SV's undersprung, froth shock and squishtastic front forks.
Those tails just feel a bit wierd at first but so long as there's something behind to lean on then they're fine.
A hugger is a really good idea though!

It looks like my shock if I'm honest.
I like it that much, I've picked my favourite pictures and put them as a theme on my BB

No surprise, lots of shocks are made on the same castings and just valved and sprung differently, some with different length shafts too.

Makes a pleasant change from people doing really original jobs on SVs by fitting a carbon hugger, some rim tape and a can.
It will probably weigh nowt and with a decent rear shock, handle well.
If he likes it then thats fine with me, If every bike or car looked the same then this planet would be a boring place.
just my £0.02 worth.
