front tyre size - help!

Hi all,

I've been given a set of bridgestone BT016's by a mate of mine who used them once on a trackday. The rear will fit fine but the front is off by 10mm. I know sv650 stock front tires come in at 120/60/17 but the tire he gave me is 120/70/17.

Would i still be able to use this on the front? if so are there any issues with handling/performance that i should be aware of???

any help/advice would be appreciated!

I just replaced my trye (a sh!t metlezer(sp) 160/60) with a michilin road two's, dual compound kinda thing..

The 120/70 is a snug fit, bit defiently fits, and theres no rubbing on the orginal mudguard and even on the fender extender i installed..

Fitted Tuesday, running well :)

As for handling, havent noticed negative effects, but someone more knowledgeable(sp) will come and tell you more about it :)
