I've had a touch of it over the week- mostly my throat being well itchy.
I think a lot of trees throw their pollen out in April, before the main season starts.
Tell me about it. never used to suffer from it as a kid, but started about 5 years ago. I started about 2 weeks ago this year, feels like I got a constant cold, not good :(

I get it quite bad when the rape is in full flower.
I get an injection once a year and it stops it completly .
The doctor didnt want to give it to me until I had tried every other option first though.

I've had the injections when I had A levels and Uni exams, they're corticosteroids, if you get them every year they can give you real problems when you get older, especially if you need them again for different reasons etc.
They work amazingly, its unbelievable, no sneezing at all for around 8 months. Worth it if you have it very badly, and if you have exams or something serious in the year.

They didnt want to give them due to problems with brittle bones later in life.
I was given everything possible but none of them worked well enough.
My arguement was as I was on the tools as a Contract carpenter I was using power tools and doing a lot of roofing.
If i was sneezing and my eyes were streaming all the time, I was at more risk without it than I would be with it.

I used to do this, but the one they used to give me was a steriod and apparently your body gets used to it and they cause issues when you get older. I find Zyrtec works a treat though, so stick with that.

Sounds like a good argument to me! I take crappy tablets now, may get the injection for the summer, but might just deal with it
Another sufferer reporting for duty. My eyes went so itchy today. Grrr. Usually a few eyedrops - over the counter stuff - fixes it. I don't get it near the sea, only here where we're miles from the briny.

The stupid thing is that I never had it all the time I was living and working in north devon.
27 years with nothing.
I moved to Northampton and my first 12 months were house bashing in london and I started to get it then.
Eyes were only ok when I was scratching the hell out of them and my nose was constantly running.
Must have been the london air.
I'm the same if I visit now, 1 day in london and I have a week of hell after:(
Still, I have heard that hay fever can go as quickly as it comes.
Fingers crossed....

I actually thought a week ago, blimey I have got rid of it at last :D (it can just
go) and I also felt less dust/cat/dog/rest of population allergic.
But yesterday back with a vengence in the eyes department. Oh well, there we go.

People find different things help them, I was considering acupuncture but at the same time tried Beconase nasal spray. All the tablets basically damped the symptoms, often not very well, but this stuff actually stops it for me.

I suffer from it on and off.
I've not had it for a couple of summers now, but some times I get it really bad and sometimes I even get it in winter.
Get eye drops, nasal spray and tablets from the doctor

+1 theres no way I'd put my faith in some dried and ground dog sh*t.

It's not even that potent.
By definition, homeopathic remedies contain absolutely no active ingredient whatsoever.
