I actually jumped when I saw that.
Just wrong side of road. May have been offsiding, but looked like a blind left.

Would have hurt perhaps slightly less if he had proper gear on and not just tshirt, jeans and lid?!
He should win a darwin award!!
There's no way he could see around that bend, yet he chose to ride the wrong side of the road.
We reckon it's the classic 'Brits Abroad' mistake....................forgetting which side of the road they should be on.
British plates on the bikes, but not on the car.

But he was on the correct side until he went to turn, think he was just being cocky personally.

He locked the front up too, but at least had the skill to control that. A shame he hit the brakes, otherwise he'd of probably made it past that car.

What are you talking about? !!!!!!!!!!
The guy was NOT off siding.
Exactly as Lissa said. The Brit had stopped & when they restarted forgot which side of the road they should be on.
Very easily done !! so all those that have posted a criticism I hope you are all perfect.

I pulled out on pacific highway 101 with all the family in a hire car once.
I still wake up now and again seeing the bloody wagon coming the other way on my...his side of the road.
Luckily nothing more that tortured rubber was the result...............

I still say he was riding on the correct side for the few seconds after pulling off then cut into the other side to take the turn......

It's easy to forget and drift to the wrong side of the road when abroad (even if you've learned to ride in RHS traffic as I found out myself).
To me it's a 100% case of he forgot which side of the road he's supposed to be on.
my first thought was "where is their gear...leathers boots etc"

Are they really that bad? Or did the rider just use too much throttle?

Looks a bit like he opened it up half way round the corner to me. Quite where he was expecting to zoom off to expect 30ft across the car park though I'm not sure.
