Will see if he lets me keep my front pearly white, it has had considerable investment over the years, damaged with a brown ale bottle 20 years ago and subsequently veneered and root filled.
Now the root filling is being rejected, I get it xrayed every 6 months and he says lets have another look in 6 months.
I am not looking forward to what ever they would do to replace it if it has to come out

I had hoped they would do an implant, but looking at the web NHS funding is not there for it, only denture or a bridge.
I suppose I am lucky to still have a NHS dentist, he refused to go private when every other local dentist rebelled, trouble is he seems to only do basic work and no fancy stuff, that even includes the service of a hygienist etc. If I end up having to go private for an implant I just hope he would keep me on his books for my general care.

dentists are stupid!
I hate that teeth are such a bill board for our inner health yet it costs us a fortune to put them rite. I've lost 1 tooth and have a dead one currnetly giving me grief but at £80 to get it removed. Its going to hav to hurt like the other one before I pay that amount to get it taken out.
hope ot doesnt end up costing a fortune to get it sorted, if its their mistake surely they should cop the bill.

You could always take an electric drill and a fine bit... and if that doesn't work you could always use the good old string and a door technique. :smt005

its a tooth to the side, half of it has broken away since then Ive tried tying string round it and jumping off the side of the stairs to pull the f****r, all the happened was the string slipped off and my eyes watered while i mubbled some unrepeatable crap loll

If it's causing that much gip, isn't £80 money well spent?
