2 grand will get you a very nice curvy S or an early pointy, or are you thinking of something else?

Ok to be realistic - I'd probably have to say nothing too high so seat height max 800mm or too heavy so maybe max 190kg or too powerful, max 750cc
Preferably the lower the lighter the better - so really whatever fits that, whether that be an SV or something else
Mucho Gracias
It really is worth the extra £500 and ok for the shorties too - oh and look its 750cc too - its got your name written all over it! :D

I can certainly vouch it's suitable for girls!:p

Heavier than 190kg though, I believe the standard Z750 was 202kg but I'm probably wrong. Then again, when you're on it, it's quite a light machine so there shouldn't be a problem..

Hey Skip - is certainly a stunning looker of a bike, shame it is a little out of my price range and i do have concerns about the weight.
Where abouts in Norfolk are you though - I've got a load of family round Kings Lynn way, so if you've had no serious offers over the next couple of weeks - it may be worth a visit :)
I've got a CG125-BR in the back garden with a ceased engine... I've got a spare engine for it in the shed too.
Any help? :D
Sophie (Sosha) has a yellow pointy for sale.

Ok doke bud - experience RS125 > VFR400 > CBR600 > SV650S, so as you can see I tend to go for a sports bike, but I'd like to maybe consider something that is not so much weight on the steering, so something a little more upright, If it were in budget I'd really like to go for something like an ER6-N - but not sure whether I would enjoy it as much as a sports bike, I do like to try get that knee down on them twisties - I'm in North Wales but within reason - travelling is not an issue

Well, I have something else in the back garden that I got for your max price, but sadly that needs work too.
I'm assuming you got my PM the other day, so feel free to take me up on that whenever you need to. :)

Oh OK, unfortunately although I do source a few bikes for people all my contacts are London local, so not much use I'm afraid :smt102

If it's a bargain not to be missed though still bear me in mind - with family in Richmond I can have an excuse to be in the area

Ok, rather than actively chase anything, I'll keep an ear to the ground and if anything catches my eye I'll let you know.
Cheers Mark.

Hey if that helps sell it I have no shame ;)

It is heavier than an SV but certainly doesnt feel "heavy" - not like my new Blackbird
I am Wymondham - I hope to sell it within a couple of weeks but you never know - let me know if you want to take a look.
i have an sv650 for sale offers around £1600

I can +1 Skip on this - I have a slightly younger Z750 and its not harder to handle than the SV it replaced.
Scrounge up the extra £500 from somewhere and do both Skip and yourself a favour and keep that Zed in the .org family :)

What Soulkiss neglects to mention is he is slightly shorter in stature himself (isn't that right Gimley?) and therefore if it fits him...
There's a nice looking yellow Curvy 2000 plate in the For Sale section. Looks in good condition too.

It's more than capable of knee down stuff i'm sure, even with stock suspension and if you did buy and didn't fancy the lowers, i could relieve you of those for a small fee...??
