Useless doctors

I came off my bike at a fairly high speed before Christmas, went to the hospital but my neck wasnt hurting as much as the rest of me was so i didnt think to get it checked out, a couple of weeks ago I went to the doctors about my neck, he said well you've sprained it, give me some pain killers that dont work and its just getting worse every day. Still im not wanting to go back to the doctors again lol any one know anyting bout necks?

Have you considered going to the A&E? Perhaps they'd refer you onwards. Just explain that you've had an accident

Never even considered it i was just going to wait it out but its 4 months that its been hurting now. And im not a fan of any one in the medical profession.

Ask your GP for a referral to an orthopaedic specialist

Two words - Steve Hislop

Go for an X-Ray, if you came off at speed then you might have a whiplash injury or sustained some kind of damage (however slight) to your discs or vertebrae. :o

facture clinic sent me home with a broken collarbone saying it was fixed? i had to show them it was still moving in 2 directions :( the pysio guy said to me "dont be silly try harder!" when doing excersizes when it was stil broken :(

You are a pillock!!!! Bike isn't the only way to get to the doc's, get a f&cking taxi!!! Get it looked at PDQ, you could be crippled FFS. And for the rest of your life you'll have hideous neck pain, can't turn your head and be saying 'if only I'd gone to the bloody doc's'.... do it tomorrow!!!!

Its not so much the home to the doctors, more the work to home. I'll phone the docs tomorrow and see when i can get another appointment. Tell him I want an x-ray. Hopefully I'll get sorted or at least some stronger pain killers. I don't think he realised the ones he gave me don't help a thing.

Any doctor will find it hard to work out your condition through telepathy. Contact a psychic, they're a load of ****, but more qualified for the task ;)

Id get down to A&E or ask to be referred to someone - you know your own body better than anyone else and if something doesnt feel right then get it sorted (&push until it gets sorted).

Although you're not a fan of the medical profession they are the only ones who can help..
