Hi all,

I just purchased a remus hexacone exhaust for my sv650s k3, I'm having a few problems with it. I can get it to fit correctly. On my bike at the moment is a vemon can, so the OE has already been cut. I can't get the bracket that comes with the can to secure to the rear footpeg, it wobbles around, and also with the can fitted to the link pipe the exhaust bracket won't line up with with the rear footpeg to securer it. I've check the measurements on OE pipe and they are correct, I've followed the instruction that came with it, but they are ref instructions and photos.

Does anyone have any ideas

Hey,
If you have an aftermarket exhaust hanger it may not line up with the remus...mine didn't for some reason. The bracket on my remus has (i think) three holes, with two bolts that secure it onto the exhaust. I had to take the bracket off and use a single bolt with a different hole to make it all fit together.

If it's the same problem as I had this should fix it! It did seem wierd that the OE footpeg fitted fine, but the aftermarket hanger, made for the bike, didn't...

I think the aftermarket hanger is correct it came with the exhaust from calsport.
The hanger has three holes 2 for the hex bolts and 1 you can see the rivet. Can anyone tell me why the exhaust wobbles on the rear footpeg.:smt120

I think you'll need pictures to help explain this one to get you a good response.

Also if you bought it new (or even not) try mailing remus or one of their dealers to get help with your problem.
