Tzr 250

The TZR passed it's MOT on friday so I went for my first proper ride on it today. Got a good clear run up to glen clova but got stuck behind a convoy of easter eggers on the way back down.
It's a lot more work than the sv, got to really plan the revs and make sure the powerband is there for overtaking. Mental fun at full chat when the power kicks in though:D
Stopped in kirriemuir for an icecream and had a chat with a guy with a 50cc 2 stroke import that can do 70mph

The bridge at the bottom of glen clova. A good spot for pictures :lol:

cracking bike... i loved the TZR 250's. i always wanted one of the RSE ones even though they were plagued with problems...

It looks good from a distance but it's not really that good an example. It was my mates race bike so it's been on it's side a few times. But it's not a show bike, it's just for riding. Once I get used to it I'm going to do a few trackdays myself
Might try find a standard seat for it though. The seating position is very low just now with the race fairings, so the bottom of the tank really digs in to my legs, which makes it hard to grip the tank.

I always wanted one of those in Black with the Red hilights . My mate Richie had the Reverse Barrel Jap Import one til he lunched it big style , man that thing became a tin of nuts in seconds when it detonated ........ poor sod was stricken with grief , I found it funny :) .
