They're toe caps mark, toe sliders are the things on the side of your boot to save ******ing the leather if you scrape tarmac. ....aren't they :confused:

whilst you're right if the OP actually ment toe sliders, however the "(metal)?" comment would seem to suggest he ment caps (which you can slide to make sparks)..........

Although them toe caps look tempting..
Its the toe sliders, which are replaceable..
I am sure you can get ceramic/titanimum(sp) ones..

I would like somethign a bit bulkier than the orginal plastic sliders, theyre worn unevenly and now rubbing at the sole.

Will post a pic.

Ive got titanium ones on my sidi race boots but thy were on there when i bought them so no idea where they got them from...but they obviously do exist.Out there. Somewhere.

Ceramic Scuffpad, Aluminium Toe-Slider, VR Nylon Scuffpad, Vortice Slider, Vortice Alloy Slider Insert....all avaiable to any Sidi Stockist ;)
