if you need to see someones face before they fill up, then you have to see everyones face, +1 to YC.
Agreed!

I shall leave this discussion before you manage to turn it into another police bashing thread.

My whole point in my post was, if the cashiers are polite, is there any reason to be rude and refuse to do it?

oh stop crying just cos i'm not pro police will ya. That was a differnt thread and this is not about that so if you feel you need to leave just do so quietly without pointing fingers pointlessly and making a pre-emptive strike at me for something i havent done. and you say you're good with people? Sheesh, what about not holding a grudge becasue of my pov on something that isnt this?

What are you, 5 yrs old or something?

It's a double standard claiming a security risk because of one group not having their faces fully visible while allowing another to have their faces entirely covered.
The specifics of the group do not matter.
Yet you seem to infer that "religious law" allows this.

I'm not infering it mate, the laws of this country make that clarification. I;m not saying i agree wiht those laws either, simply saying they exists. Yet no law exists that says bikers must remove lids. Yet some businesses feel they need to constantly and pointlessly enforce that piont.

Also, if I worked at a petrol station and made all women who dress like that pay before service. How long before a claim of racism and me getting the sack? 15-20 minutes maybe?

And i'd stand right by your side and agree with your stand. Its either ALL or NONE not just what the moody girl/guy in contol of the pumps feels like at the time.

And since its currently not ALL then i for one dont do it.

I've said this in another thread on the subject. I used to remove my lid out of politeness, but now leave it on.
A: its a PITA faffing with my specs, which usually result in them balancing somewhere on bike, and falling on floor.
B: My hair is getting far too long, and its all nicely tucked up inside, down the back of my neck tube. Taking off lid brings it all out of tube, then I have to take that off, and usually my jacket just to get it all back in again.

Its not vanity, but I prefer the locks to be in tact, rather than flapping about and turning into a birds nest, which I have to tackle with a rake later and really make my head sore doing so.
Damn inconvenience.

Spiderman, I still hope you told this kid he was a tool for having it sat on his head.
I've seen far too many of these p***ks helmets fall off and then they just put it back on and no doubt ride with it despite it been dropped many times.

.No but i should have done really

Like petrol stations, for example. They keep moaning about all these bikers who don't take their lids off... :p

Good point, well made sir.

im not reading all 10 pages of this thread but this comment is what i agrue with

Dunno why you're arguing with me mate....i'm agreeing with you and the others. We bikers are discriminated against when there is no law one way or the other on the subject.

I think he means if he was going to pick a point to agree with and argue for, it'd be the thing you said O.O

You'd have to take your lid off to deliver it! ;)
