I'm not pleased coming home from work today my phones came out of my pocket through the tiniest gap it could have and im guessing its now in a billion pieces. Went back and couldn't see it so im not impressed. I had only had it a month as well lost all of my numbers bar 1 that i had just put in today, some of those numbers i don't know if i'll get back..... and still had it as a note on my ipod but all my pictures and videos are gone.

Nope it was only £100 though but thats a third of what i earn a month so its still a fair bit for me to loose. Still better that than my iPod

I wear draggin jeans and I know one day my wallet will fall out

£300 a month wouldn't cover the rent!

Apprentices get exploited (well the good ones) most aren't even worth £300

Never lost owt out of draggin jeans pockets. Except for my zippo which always falls out of the pocket when we go up to shooting in my mates car. It's a 2001 ford escort 1.8 ghia. Never falls out anywhere else... I think them and draggin jeans must not be compatible...

Always paranoid about losing me cigs out of thigh pocket, but they never have, even up to like 130kph

Stick them in your jacket pocket, always with zips or something. Failing that, shove anything in a resealable plastic sarnie bag and stick it under the seat.

Love this, I lost my phone, sussed it about 500 yards if that, done a 'u'ey and nothing, not even bits... some ****er must have seen it drop... to top it off, it was first work blackberry………..

The worst is this, I always double check the zips (after phone incident) but this time I undid the zip when checking instead of doing up and lost.... keys... on the fob it had;
Spare bike key.
Spare key to ex missus house.
I had had a crash and had a courtesy car and (yes you guessed it) lost the key to that.
Replacement car keys 150 (sure I was ripped off by the rental company (national).
The new house I had started renting so did not have enough time to get new ones cut... then had to call out lock smith, the landlord was away so couldn’t get keys from them, so they drilled through and that was a few hundred (on a Sunday it happened).
Then had to replace the brass lock that had been drilled though, 75...

Then had to pay for more keys cut for ex’s house, 2 sets of keys for the landlord.

All because I didn’t do the feckin zip up...

Come to about: £450 ish….

You know now that…. I ALWAYS CHECK…

One is a mistake, twice is a bit stupid, 3 times and you’re the proverbial village idiot…

Someone I know lost the blipper for their immobiliser on their way to my house for the NW4 ride! Had to rip the bike to bits to remove immobiliser before we could set off...

If I was on 300 quid a month a fancy phone would be the last thing on my mind.

Other than bikes and cars i don't spend anything apart from a bit of drink and it works out im spending less if i get the contract phone than I do if i get the P&G so im think im gonna go with the toco. Im 17 and have nothing nice to say that I have so at least the phone's gonna be something.

My car completely strips you of all your possessions, must be something about the seats

Shame, was the phone insured? A lot of phones can sync contacts now with a PC, I tend to do that just so I have a backup copy of the numbers.

nope no insurance, next one will be insured....I never used my pc with the phone for anything really other than to take pictures off, i managed to get the one number i thought I had practically no chance of getting back back so thats not to bad. And if i get a nicer phone out of it at least something good came.

Dont you have to be 18 before you can get a phone contract?

And how many hours do you work for £300 a month? There is such thing as minimum wage and that would come to something like £120+ a month for a 40 hour week!

It's either apprentice wage (extortion) or part time, not exactly the topic at hand though.

Apprentice wage is£80 a week for the minimum, yeah it's 18 but if your parents sign as well as a guarantee then you can get them earlier then once I'm 18 there name is off and it's my problem and im18 soon so my mum would only be on for a couple of months.there's no decent phones for pay and go for less than£200 at the moment meh
