Cool! It's on TV tonight.

I love watching it! Trying to figure out all the angles, best shot to get the ball to safety, position for the next ball etc. I could watch it for hours.

What is there to smile about? They couldn't smile if they made a good shot because that would seem like they were laughing at the other player, and that would be seen as bad form.

I like watching snooker but it is a bit up it's own ar5e. Did you hear the commentator earlier saying something like "To not dress properly would demean the sport". What a load of cr@p. It can't be much of a sport if it is demeaned by something as trivial as what clothes the players wear.

Get over yourself Snooker, you're not all that!

ahh that feels better. I've been needing a rant all afternoon:mrgreen:

This guy (http://www.snookercoaching.co.uk/Coaching.html) uses my local to teach, he also turns out for the club but has to give his opponents a head start.

Whilst he is a recognised professional, he still needs a proper job as well as his coaching to afford to compete.

Interestingly last year Sky tv sent him some of their overseas commentators for a weeks lessons just to improve their knowledge of the game

They get paid to do something that others pay to do. Seems a good enough reason to be happy to me.

The Higgins match last night was a corker. I had Day down to win, but that isnt going to be the case now! Higgins, i reckon has the beter chance at the moment.
