I prefer not to fight idiots - they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

:p

Old age and treachery beats youth and enthusiasm every time.

I dont fancy another rideout like that untill i get my SV. Im finally getting sick of the cg with next to no power after 40/50 mph, i cant lean it far enough without most probably lowsiding it, and the brakes are crap, and i dont want to roll up to the burnham caff with L plates again.

I wouldn't worry about it Magnum...you were never that far behind really. It didn't bother me at all that the pace was restricted a little - actually made me enjoy the sun and the scenery more!

Next time though I think more riding is required. The mileage I covered once up there was pretty low compared to how much I did to get there in the first place!!

You're getting a restricted license though aren't you?
They're not that fast lol. Although yeah probably a fair bit more power than the cg.

Rolling up with L plates? Not really a problem no one thinks anything of it. You get them at squires.

I did my lessons / test on a CG I think (was a little 125) and the difference between that and my restricted SV is quite big if I'm honest. The CG struggled to do 55/60 with my huge frame on it and would quickly die on slight inclines, not to mention barely accelerated in any gear - although I do probably weigh twice what Magnum does!

@Lucus, where is that vid?!?! :smt117(most random smiley ever, had to use it!)

I know...people should learn that everything I say on the forum is pretty much meant in jest! Wasn't seriously badgering him! :)
